Playa Rincon, Samana Province

4.5
#1 of 24 in Parks in Samana Province
Step on the powdery white sands of the unspoiled Playa Rincon, often referred to as one of the best beaches in the world. The beach's picturesque location incorporates an array of wonderful natural features; observe lush mountains of green across the bay, while majestic palms loom overhead, all set against the striking blue of the ocean. Enjoy a meal of freshly caught fish at the beach's restaurant, or relax on the sun loungers provided. Go for a stroll down the beach and, once you've got away from the crowds, you'll feel like you have it all to yourself. • The beach is beautiful especially on the side of the mouth of the River, which is Wilder. The other side is somewhat marred by the alignment of sunbeds.

  • Very nice beach with its mountain backward plan, quiet and a bit of visitor that melts the excurtions. your worth is to take a taxi to hang out and eat on the beach of the seafood. Some waste, but l other side in the Woods. like everywhere in Republic.

  • We did our trip to Rincon with Terry's Tours. The beach is simply amazing, and the water will blow your mind. The day we went, the waves were huge, so it made for some for great water play, but not great if you are looking to snorkel. Sadly, the back side of the beach and the road in are littered with plastic bottles, random bits of trash, and just about anything else you can think of. It's a real wake-up call as to the state of our tiny little planet, and once you see it, and you will, you'll want to assemble a team and clean it up. Operation Rincon or something like that. If you ever find yourself in the DR, make the effort to head over. It's probably the most beautiful beach on the island.
  • Beautiful beach. Get the fresh fish in the middle of the beach rather than the restaurant at the far end.
  • Beautiful beach. You can bring your own chairs and cooler and relax in your own quiet section of beach, or you can go to either end and rent some beach chairs. Each end also has some open air Dominican restaurants with some light food. Chicken, rice, local fish are common, as well as coconut bread and other homemade food.
  • Extremely awesome beach
  • My favorite beach in the DR
