Playa Rincon, Samana Province

4.5
#1 of 16 in Parks in Samana Province
Step on the powdery white sands of the unspoiled Playa Rincon, often referred to as one of the best beaches in the world. The beach's picturesque location incorporates an array of wonderful natural features; observe lush mountains of green across the bay, while majestic palms loom overhead, all set against the striking blue of the ocean. Enjoy a meal of freshly caught fish at the beach's restaurant, or relax on the sun loungers provided. Go for a stroll down the beach and, once you've got away from the crowds, you'll feel like you have it all to yourself. • The beach has a considerable expansion ideal for walks, has a moderate swell. The sand is golden and thick without stones. Many lying Palms lapped by the coat. The landscape is truly amazing. It is a 1-day excursion. In the workplace can be kayaking and horseback riding. One detail to improve from tourists is that I often find debris thrown onto the beach.

  • Beautiful beach. You can bring your own chairs and cooler and relax in your own quiet section of beach, or you can go to either end and rent some beach chairs. Each end also has some open air Dominican restaurants with some light food. Chicken, rice, local fish are common, as well as coconut bread and other homemade food.
  • My favorite beach in the DR
  • I love playa Rincon
  • I came here because they told me it was one of the best beaches in the Samana area. The Caribbean feel was there, and I was glad to go, but I was so disappointed on how filthy and how much garbage is left on the beach grounds. I was there couple of years ago though, and all I remember is that they didn't care about garbage whatsoever. It totally ruined the image of the beach for me. Getting there was good, I enjoyed the scenery. Untouched nature and all.
