Take a horseback ride to El Salto del Limon by Booking Adventures, a 52 m (170 ft) waterfall. The scenic uphill ride to the waterfall (accompanied by a local guide), takes you across a rushing river and through lush green jungle. You'll take a break near the falls, as the guides tether the horses, and then you'll descend the trail that leads to the cascade. Admire the cascade as it plunges off a tall cliff and cool off in the natural pool at the waterfall's base before you head back. You can also hike to the falls by yourself. • For me and my family, it is something rare and badly made. We went to make walk after the rain, a disaster. Tired horses go parriba, pabajo mud almost to his knees. Sliding. Many people. If you have health problems, I do not advise. With children either. Turn have made walk.

  • A different ride on a bus (typical bus of Dominican Republic), arrived and we got water or helmet boots. then riding with a guide, super friendly, way malito with much mud we mounted our guides walk, we arrived we were greeted with fruit and then we went down a staircase, and el Salto El Limon with plenty of cold water. Many tourists from all over. I liked the walk and chat with the Guide-excellent experience.

  • We arrived in this beautiful corner of the forest by purchasing at our hotel, a trip that included, paying the price of 120 euros. Departed early in the morning, we boarded to Samana and from there, on a truck equipped with comfortable seats, after stops at a cigar factory, a House of the place, etc. we reached a large square where there were horses and drivers. Worn boots and helmet, the guy takes the reins and led the horse for a terrible trail, where stones and mud are the masters. The walk takes about 30 minutes and at some point, who never went on horseback, although helped by the guide can try some hesitation because of ascents or descents not just by walk. Left the horse, descend on foot for about 10 minutes along a path with steps, until you arrive in front of the waterfall, not the highest, (52 meters) but with several drops of water that form a water film. Those who wish can swim in upper Lake, just below the fall, or opt for the lower part (10 meters below) where the water is calm and less crowded. Protect the cameras from droplets! The return is a little more difficult as redoing stepped path uphill. Shooting the horse near a kiosk/Bazaar with prices very fair. Tipping is almost a requirement, but do not believe the tale of the unpaid volunteer. As a rule, returned to the starting square and returned the equipment wears out here lunch in the restaurant with buffet of Dominicans (DISCREET). EXCELLENT IDEA.
