  • We booked this adventure and had the best day of our trip! Felix is amazing, I think we will be friends for life. He made the trip memorable. The beach was fabulous! The whole day was great. Thank you. You will not be disappointed.
  • Unwelcome Judgement Our tour guide's name was Samuel. His English was excellent. He was very proud of the fact that he has been married for a long time. Early in the tour, he opined about the sanctity of marriage and stated that there was no reason for anyone to get a divorce. I was extremely upset to hear him spewing religious beliefs on a fun vacation tour. My 33 year marriage had ended in divorce just few days before. His statements were inappropriate and ignorant. A tour guide has NO BUSINESS talking about this topic. We had paid for a 1/2 day tour. We didn't want to spend all day away from our all inclusive resort. Several times during the trip, our tour guide, Samuel, insinuated that the 1/2 day tour people were problematic because they would have to be taken back earlier than the rest of the group. I didn't appreciate being made to feel belittled about our time choices. We felt pressured to stay for lunch and the beach (which we didn't intend to do and did not do -- but the sense of being "inconvenient" was strong.) In spite of our tour guide, the countryside was pleasant and enjoyable. The tour bus is open air. The views were magnificent. I enjoyed seeing the countryside, the small towns and the beautiful scenery. Be aware that the tour stops on the road outside of a school. Tours are not permitted in schools anymore since earlier 2018. Why they didn't change the tour description is a mystery. I'm a teacher and was looking forward to seeing inside the school and possibly being able to talk with teachers or students. None of that happened. We also stopped to ride horses, which was a surprise because it wasn't listed in the activities for the half day tour. One man said he was allergic to horses and would not have signed up for the tour had he known it involved horses. Footwear was an issue, too, for many people. Again, the scenery was beautiful and the other people on the tour were great fun. At the same place with the horses, we saw a cigar rolling demonstration and were given small cigarillo samples. They were mellow and very nice. Art and cigars were offered for sale here. The organic farm was really in reality a few cacao trees, a few coffee bean trees, some cacao beans drying on flat cement, an awkward tour of a typical mountain home COMPLETE WITH MOTHER AND TWO CHILDREN. I immediately exited the house. It felt like we were intruding and that the mother and children were in a human zoo, being exhibited. Then everyone sat on benches and were given small samples of cacao powder with sugar cane, fresh cacao beans, mamajuana, and hot chocolate made with the powder. Some information about the farming and the processing was briefly presented. Cinnamon, coffee, and other products were available for purchase. Drinks were offered only once. Unlimited beverages seems an overstatement. We had a great time with the other people on the tour. The 1/2 day people had a great conversation and many laughs on the drive back to Punta Cana. We wanted to "get off the beaten path" and see some of the "real" Dominican Republic. I think this tour provided that. Without the morality sermon, it would have been an ideal day.
  • Our day with the suprime true safari was awesome!! Our guide, Lizandro made our journey incredible. Bilingual and detailed explanations made as appreciate this amusing culture. Émile, our bartender was great always ready to put an end to our thirst, the driver made as enjoying this tripe. All team was incredible. Truly recommended
  • We just got back from our Safari tour. We had the worst tour guide ever (Radi is the name). He didn't explain what we're suppose to expect for the whole day excursion. He pretty much just slept the whole time of the tour. The photographer and the beverage guys were even better than him, trying to take care of the tour guests. He has NO customer service, whatsover! Then, the worst part was he didn't even make an announcement as to who will be dropped off first, so that we could have at least gotten ready ahead of time. We just all of a sudden stopped on the side of the road, and people were asking in spanish what's going on? Then, he said the name of our hotel, looked at us and said, "is that you? You get off here, take that van ( pointing to the vehicle behind us) and you go back to your hotel". We felt like we were totally caught off guard. We were the only English speaking tourists in the group, and we felt like we were just left out. I would NOT recommend this tour company at all!
