San Juan Shopping Center, Punta Cana
(2.5/5 based on 750+ reviews on the web)
Browse the goods on sale at San Juan Shopping Center, a mall that caters to locals and tourists alike. Unlike other malls close by, the center doesn't cater solely to international visitors, so you won't find wall-to-wall souvenir shops here. Instead, you'll find a large supermarket where locals do their groceries, and over 60 other stores selling a range of clothing, beauty, electronics, and entertainment products. The onsite movie theater provides a welcome distraction for anyone uninterested in retail therapy, and an area selling solely products made by Dominican artisans adds a nice variation to what's on offer in the modern mall. San Juan Shopping Center is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our online itinerary creator, Punta Cana Edition.

  • Shopping is very basic. Few locals, normal prices, picturesque. From the hotels there is a free shuttle, with specific timetables, with the only exception that needs to be done to seal a role within the shopping at two sites. Within it, there is a supermarket, which has good prices, already is coffee, chocolates, etc. I've bought there, to bring to the Argentina. The price in relation to the Free shop or hotel, varies by 40% to 50%. Pay attention to the sites where passes the transport, at the time of return to the hotels. They are easily found, but Dominicans seem to not know to explain in great detail.

  • The mall has a small Best Buy type of store, a sporting goods store upstairs that actually has good Nike and Under Armour clothes and shoes....but that's about it for shopping. Even the tiny Ikea does...  more »
  • The Grocery store is interesting-the mall was just ok. Nothing fantastic...a few souvenir shops and some regular stores...

  • Close to hotel's (catalonia Bavaro) easy $ conversion, great :)
  • Was a good experience, specially if you have been trapped in a resort. You can buy all your snacks, food and liquor here that you cant get at the all inclusive resorts. Personally I am so sick of Presidenté and I was dying for a European beer. It's not like a US Mall but more of a plaza.
  • A very good shopping mall with some very good stores prices are higher than the Capital but you're in punta Cana it's expected
  • Good collection of shops if you venture away from your hotel. The locals call this place a big mall but it depends what you're used to as I considered this place small. There are some familiar restaurant chains here such as subway, pizza Hut and dennys if you want a refreshing change to your, more than likely, all inclusive food.
  • Most visit place in bavaro. Great stores and dinning places...
