Explore Indigenous Eyes Ecological Park & Reserve, a Punta Cana private subtropical forest reserve. The area was named for its 12 freshwater lagoons, which the native Taino people described as “eyes”. While free self-guided tours of the reserve are only available to the guests of the Punta Cana resort, visitors can enjoy a three-hour guided tour of the verdant ecological park. Wander through the lush forest, spot an array of rare plants and tropical birds, and cool off in the crystal clear waters of the lagoons. During the tour, you can also pay a visit to the iguana farm, meet the petting zoo animals, and stroll through the botanical and fruit gardens.
