Carretera Samana Toll Road, Las Terrenas

(3.5/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
Drive along Carretera Samana Toll Road, a scenic highway connecting Santo Domingo and Samana province. The well-maintained road opened in 2009 and has significantly reduced the travel time between the two cities. Along the way, enjoy the lush tropical jungle vegetation and ocean views. On the picturesque drive you'll pass three different toll booths; the price might seem a bit steep, but the route will get you to your destination much faster than the old roads. • The toll costs are too expensive and even think them out to the town of Samana after Terrenas must leave the road which is on the way to the lemon buy error exit at the toll and had to pay a second exit...

  • The road leading from Santo Domingo to Samana is a road full of bends, paddy fields, livestock grazing and some views worthy of being photographed. You must be careful of stopping to take pictures if there are any truck safety. And be careful driving on the countless mopeds circulating without any problem, without a helmet, and up to 4 or 5 people: another example of the irresponsibility of many Dominicans!
