Playa Madama, Las Galeras

(170+ reviews on the web)
Landmark Tourist Spot
Enjoy the clear azure waters and pristine white sand of Playa Madama, a beach flanked by verdant rolling hillsides, plantations, and cliffs. The secluded and untouristed nature of the spot make it ideal for snorkeling or relaxing on the soft sand with a book. Trails lead to the beach through picturesque and lush environs, but exercise caution if you're in a small group, as the remoteness of the area can leave you vulnerable to crime. Try to visit the beach as part of a boat tour to stay on the safe side. There are no restrooms on site, so plan ahead. A visit to Playa Madama represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Las Galeras itinerary builder to plot your vacation.
