Cabarete Beach, Cabarete

(4.3/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web)
The often windy Cabarete Beach serves as a kitesurfing and windsurfing hotspot. In fact, this stretch of sand is often the setting for professional kitesurfing competitions. Surfing the waves or gliding on the wind are the most popular activities on the beach, but you can also laze on the soft white sand, swim in the calmer area with gentler waves, or hang out in one of the numerous restaurants and bars that line the shore. With our online itinerary creator, Cabarete attractions like Cabarete Beach can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

  • High waves, lots of kitesurfers and sandy beach as far the eye can see! There are many vendors on the beach, but we saw them not too brash.

  • Cabarete Beach is beautiful and has a line of charming restaurants and bars tucked into the palm trees just off the water. Great for sunning, lunch and dinner.  more »
  • Like almost everywhere else, the tourism destroys the most beautiful places in the world. Sometimes less is more. Where are the small bars where you could dance Salsa Batchate and Merenge on the beach. 15 years ago every 20 meters. What a pity.
