Spanny Falls, Dominica
(4.6/5 based on 25+ reviews on the web)
Take a short hike up to the beautiful waters of Spanny Falls and cool off in the pools in a lush jungle setting. Set on private property, the falls' friendly owner will guide you to the first cascade. If you're feeling brave, haul yourself up the steep slope using the nearby rope to visit the second set of falls. If you can tackle this challenging climb, you'll see a much more impressive waterfall featuring a larger pool for a swim. • This was the first hike and waterfall we visited upon arrival to Dominica. Its easy, beautiful and the water is so refreshing.
  • Although we had already visited two falls that day, Spanny Falls was still breathtaking. It was raining hard when we visited so we didn't want to risk trying to get to the upper falls, but we heard th...  more »
  • Beautiful waterfalls that can be reached after a walk of about 20 minutes immersed in a beautiful vegetation, the first beautiful waterfall and gives you the possibility to make even a swim, while the second is more difficult to achieve because you have to make a climb using ropes but for those who have trouble making the path to the spectacle of the second waterfall well worth it ... Wear sneakers or hiking boots if you have them
