Middleham Falls, Morne Trois Pitons National Park

(4.8/5 based on 40+ reviews on the web)
Take the moderately challenging, 1.5-hour hike to see Middleham Falls, one of the tallest falls in Dominica. Walk through the pristine rainforest and see a variety of trees--some of which have enormous buttress roots sticking out on the trail. Make sure you have shoes with traction and a hiking pole because of the wet, slippery rocks. Take in the view of the 61 m (200 ft) stream of water falling from the cliff, ending in a pool where you can take a refreshing dip. • Good two hours you need about out and back. Non-stay. But the trail is a hiking fun and the waterfalls are worth all the trouble. Really worth!
