  • Wonderful hiking in the forest, tropical and humid to access an impressive Lake boiling 60 meters in diameter through the Valley of Desolation. I did it with a guide which is recommended given the lay of the land (volcano, fumarole, etc.) but not essential for adventurers. The rain has been with us for almost 5 hours, we were soaked thanks also to passages directly in the rivers. A great time was a hot bath in a nearby river at 35 ° to the Valley of Desolation. Do also initially the Titou Gorge, but attention to the water level. Duration of the contract 8 h 00 taking his time. For a sportsman, it is doable in 5 hours.
