Indian River, Dominica

4.0
#5 of 25 in Nature in Dominica
Water Body Nature / Park
Listen to the sound of birds joyfully singing and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of calm waters and the surrounding dense green jungle as you sail up Dominica's Indian River. Take an Indian riverboat ride upstream, a popular activity in the area. Your guide educates you about the local animal and plant life as you make your way to the head of the river to enjoy a refreshing drink. You may feel a sense of familiarity as this is the shooting location for some scenes of the motion picture Pirates of the Caribbean. See if you can identify some scenes from the movie.
