  • beautiful modern building "welded" to the ancient; overlooking the Canal, the Interior is really nice, bright, spacious: worth the entrance!!

  • To get the best photos in good weather go just before sunset. The reflection on the black surface is amazing. The building itself is stunning. There are frequent art exhibitions (pay) and the section ...  more »
  • On the ground floor of the House there is a wonderful Café and a large area with tables (plus the famous designer Arne Jacobsen chairs) which has a great view of the Canal. After walking across Copenhagen, on a winter's day, is an immense pleasure to enjoy a hot soup in an environment full of young people reading, comparing, eat sandwich brought from home. It's a casual place and, given the prices of Copenhagen, also cheap. To keep in mind besides the fact that the structure is an architectural work of great value.

  • Beautiful building both inside and outside. Perfect for studying, taking a break, reading or having lunch. Interesting exhibitions which are either free or very cheap.
  • Good study space, especially in the summer when you can sit outside in the deckchairs. Cafe Oieblikket is rather expensive, but students/those with KB loaner cards can use the staff canteen at certain times, which has surprisingly good food for next to no money.
  • The place is a great architectural environment both in and out worth a walkthrough in itself. It also has a great archival collection.
  • Really beautiful building. Especially in summer when you can sit next to the water. If you see the library from the opposite side of the channel, it is very nice to see the reflection of the building in the water.
  • Nice architecture and design inside and out the modern and old library buildings. The elegant reading room is very classical, whilst the modern travelators taking you to the 1st level make it feel very futuristic.
