  • A long metro trip out of town but worth it. Great renaissance collections and very pretty grounds. The chapel is stunning and an overall great example of Renaissance.

  • You should visit once. A beautiful castle with a nice park behind it. There is a lot to see inside. The free audio guide is sometimes sending you strange routes. Take more time to enjoy the castle it's really worth your time. Public transportation gets you there easily and it's included in CPH Card and otherwise affordable.
  • it is a lovely place in the summer good surroundings. nature to enjoy. and you can take a trip inside the castle too.
  • Beautiful castle on the water. Free admission with the Copenhagen Card. Be sure to take the ferry across the lake for the best views of the castle.
  • Spent all afternoon viewing incredible paintings, tapestries, artwork, family history. Only a visit will help one to appreciate the history which is incorporated in the interior of the castle & the magnificent gardens surrounding the lake. Very helpful & friendly staff
  • Very grand with many treasures. Love the garden - it is the best among all the gardens I visited in Copenhagen.
