  • A definite must if you're in town! The ruins are even free, so you can just enjoy history. Castle Mall is open, but the ruins can be visited without fine. Unfortunately, we must redeem the ticket for the Museum to come up in the goose Tower.

  • This beautiful Tower, one must experience, it is so nice on the ruins, and it is huge. You can get up in the tower and view all pages out of shooting shards. It is the most beautiful Tower in Denmark.

  • After many years of excavations of the area, have you refilled the old moats--after the excavation, with water again, so you have an impression of the castle's surroundings as they originally were in the Valdemar marernes time. And dendrokronologisk-tree rings in wood found in the graves, it has been found that the castle is older than first thought. A new museum in the rusty iron (shown Cortén-steel?) is done as a wedge into the ground, at the site of the old regional museum, which is now demolished. The remains of King-son, Prins Jørgens gård remains and will be used as an excellent restaurant. Jorgen came to England as Prince Consort, however, shown without to retire? The well-preserved Tower: the goose tower stands as a landmark for the city, however, is not the original, but a roof structure later, romantic add-on, and it has originally, of course, gone beyond the masonry to protect guards and defends. Goose, also a romantic add-on, has actually become "lueforgyldt", an old technique-with a considerable amount of gold, which would probably tepid in the city Treasury today. In the Tower's later life was the "Dungeon" and a wooden chute can be seen in the wall, which, after the application has allowed prisoners to serve their owners so the result ended in the moat! Prior to the time they had to fend for themselves in the best possible way! Around the area are located a couple of containers, which have information about the Castle and can be opened with the from the Museum supplied units. You can now see the original, single King-'s scope, which is marked with thick round iron bars over the terrain. Outside the Castle, Palace Square, stands a small house, originally built for the city's brændsprøjter, but for many years used as a public toilet, today, however, decorate the House for serving. Across the square, you can see the ring-wall, original courses marked in the paving.

  • Nice place to catch pokemons and meet people
  • I was devoted by the Virgin Tower. It is a nice park, with everything a park must have. Including lots of birds to feed the 😁

  • Impressive ruin where large parts of the castle walls are left. There is a recently built a museum on the area, with small satellites (rubbish containers) where you can also read more. The goose Tower remains as the only one of the ruin which is preserved.
