  • I was impressed so good conditions, it was made possible to create for so many animals on the limited space. It gave a good impression of the wildlife in different climate zones that the terrarium includerede more different animals in addition to the expected reptiles and amphibians

  • This place is really worth a visit, so unless it is because you really grieve by reptiles, so it's just Begone! The site is ever-changing, but Morten and the others have really done a nice job of improving the site, make it vibrant, welcoming, attractive and exciting. There is really much to look at, even if the place is not so violently. Displaying and disseminating poison snakes is brilliant! The new rain forest is really beautiful and vibrant. Haven't seen the new desert-section, but am looking forward to seeing it, hopefully before too long:) All the best from here!

  • With his wife and 8 year old son who is very interested in animals visited on a cloudy day. This small park has a number of unusual animals not elsewhere in many zoos. For example snakes with explanations about their toxicity and the research that is done there, a wonderful series lizards, but also a number of huge spiders. The website is nicely finished with a good English version, cannot be taken for granted in Denmark.

  • Lovely little zoo with lots of animals for its size. Great for kids too.
  • It wasn't expensive to get in. They had a lot of tortoises, snakes and lizards. For the size of the zoo they had a lot of animal. You can bring a lunch and eat it outside in the greenhouse or on the picnic tables.
  • It's alright
  • Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cosy and not too large, but still with a large variety of different animals. Andrew; 130 Swedish kronor for Swedish adults and SEK 78 for children. Extra plus in the edge that you had to bring their own food, and they even invited on cake and coffee/soft drink/bottled water.

  • Fat first room with animals directly on the floor. But the rest of the terrarium did not live up to the first space standard. Price is not so high, so you get what you pay for.

Where to stay in Odense

Variety is no problem when searching for a place to stay in Odense, the birthplace of Hans Christian Anderson. The city is a transportation hub for the rest of the island, and many of its sights can be seen by foot or bicycle no matter which neighborhood you choose to stay in. There is no shortage of hotels here, though it is more expensive to stay in the city center. For more affordable options, look outside the center, or if you want a prime location, a basic hostel in the city center. If you prefer a more personalized experience, the city boasts a number of guesthouses and family-owned bed and breakfasts.
