Danmarks Flymuseum Reviews
Super godt museum. Der er virkelig mange spændende maskiner. Alle fly og helikoptre fra det danske flyvevåben ser ud til at være med. All aircraft and helikoptre from the Danish air force looks to be. There is also a lot of civilian aircraft, letvægtsfly, build-yourself planes and, of course, a model of ellehammers old cykelfly. They stand a little dense, but what a hotspot of aircraft. It is, and so many small models, and relevant text on the machines.
En spændende historisk rejse i flyenes verden. Flot udstilling med en stor samling af fly m.v. fra danmarks civile- og militære luftfart. Savnede lidt flere fly, hvor man kan sidde i cockpitet og pill... more »An exciting historical journey in aircraft world. Nice exhibition with a large collection of aircraft etc. from Denmark's civil and military aviation. Missed a few more flights, where you can sit in the cockpit and fiddling, poking, rage a little-it is indeed a hit, particularly among young people. The Museum has a small café and a souvenir shop and there are toilets. All in all a great place to spend a few hours.
The aircraft in this museum are among the most pristine examples I have ever seen. The museum takes great care of the aircraft, and this really shows. The museum is located in a new and modern buildin... more »
Despite its size, you still get your money's worth for visiting. The collection is very impressive, and the museum provides a vast amount of information in Danish, German and English. Definitely a place worth checking out if you happen to be in the Danish country side.
Although the Flymuseum is a lot smaller to Duxford in the UK (which we live close to and have visited a number of times) It is larger than we expected and the shear quality of the exhibits impressed us all far more than those at Duxford. An excellent collection of interesting and varied aircraft, good English translations of information displays and the ability to get really close to the exhibits make this place stand out. Well worth a visit!
If you like planes, you should visit. There are F16, Drakken, Spitfires, F104 starfighter and many more.
Veteran aeroplane collection. Both military and civil aircraft. Special collection of the Danish aircraft KZ (Hug & Zeugten). Most of the planes are able to fly and will be flown for display on special evenings during the summer period. See website for display flight evenings. Exciting place.
The aircraft Museum is very interesting. The exhibited planes are in a very clean condition. The aviation history of Denmark and the Danish air force is shown in detail. Interested for aircraft is the Museum recommended.
