  • I find it fascinating the headlights in General, so I wanted to see this too. I was not disappointed, simple but beautiful. Better yet if you see around sunset, becomes even more beauty and a veil of mystery. Council to see it.

  • Is located by road if you are going to Grenen. Worth a stop, though paying, because from the top you can see perfectly the language of sand! And then the thrill of getting on a lighthouse is priceless!

  • This is a photo suitable for framing ... between sky and sea I don't know what to tell me this part of Denmark I loved!! Has incredible views and the scent of flowers in the air ... nice to go there!

  • I loved it. Almost unreasonably very expensive (just like everything else in Scandinavia). View is fantastic if, and only if, you are lucky and have at least a partly sunny day and the wind wouldn't blow you off. (Not as unlikely as you might have thought.)
  • First heard of Skagen last year when I watched the film Copenhagen. Soon after I moved to Denmark for some months and the thing I wanted to visit the most was Skagen. I got to go only a few weeks before I moved back to my home country. Definitely did not disappoint - it exceeded the expectations by 500 percent. :) It is such a charming and unique place. Unlike no other I have visited.
  • Skagen Grå Fyr is the lighthouse at the most northern point of Jutland. It is run by the DOF. There is an excellent multimedia exhibition in English and Danish giving detailed information on everything pertaining to bird migration. One needs a ticket to visit, but the ticket is to exhibition and tower. Once you have managed the climb up the tower's well-maintained stairs, you are rewarded with a stunning view of the surrounding countryside, the Kattegat and the Skagerak. You also get a close up view of the lighthouse lense. Next to the lighthouse is a lovely cafe, serving light meals and tasty cakes and deserts. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restrooms are good. There is a pay and display carpark, the tickets are also valid for the neighbouring carparks and the ones in Skagen. Skagen Grå Fyr is extremely interesting to bird lovers, but it offers a good time to everybody.
  • Beautiful and worth a visit if you are in the area. There is a few lighthouses and my favourite would be Lemvig Fyr where you can find some history about lighthouses and their meaning of the coastline.
  • Best view. Just go up 210 stairs.
