Grenen Skagen, Skagen

(4.7/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
Stand on one of the most northerly points of Denmark, with your feet in two seas at once, at Grenen Skagen. The point is lined with soft, white sand and offers expansive views of the waves created by the meeting of the two different waters: the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. Hop on a tractor leaving from the visitor center for a quick ride down to the beach, where you can watch the sunset or take a walk. Be on the lookout for the seals, whales, and orcas that are often spotted in the water. The area is very exposed to the elements and is known to be quite windy, so check the weather forecast ahead of time and prepare accordingly. Keep in mind that swimming is prohibited, as the currents are dangerously strong. Plan to visit Grenen Skagen during your Skagen vacation using our convenient Skagen trip itinerary maker.

  • The place noteworthy on 2-m reasons. It is the northernmost point of Denmark, as well as the place where 2 of the sea, the North Sea and the Baltic. There is a sense that when you stand on the headland, visually see how face 2 currents. No wonder there is forbidden to swim, apparently there is a danger of fail over. Cape offers free parking and a cafe. From the car park to Cape walk 10-15 minutes. Many points on the Cape to make beautiful pictures. I would like to visit the Cape again and summer to soak up the Sun and stay longer on the Cape, because winter still cold enough due to strong winds.

  • The light, the wind and the sand. .. romantic stroll.. We took the bus beyond and went home. Understand very well that artists have sought here in all years for inspiration.
