Grenen Skagen, Skagen

(4.7/5 based on 850+ reviews on the web)
Stand on one of the most northerly points of Denmark, with your feet in two seas at once, at Grenen Skagen. The point is lined with soft, white sand and offers expansive views of the waves created by the meeting of the two different waters: the Baltic Sea and the North Sea. Hop on a tractor leaving from the visitor center for a quick ride down to the beach, where you can watch the sunset or take a walk. Be on the lookout for the seals, whales, and orcas that are often spotted in the water. The area is very exposed to the elements and is known to be quite windy, so check the weather forecast ahead of time and prepare accordingly. Keep in mind that swimming is prohibited, as the currents are dangerously strong. Plan to visit Grenen Skagen during your Skagen vacation using our convenient Skagen trip itinerary maker.

  • Just a quick bike ride from Skagen town. Great place for a swim or just relax on the beach. could easily be much wind but inside the sand dunes, you can find a quiet place. Plenty of parking if you come by car, adapted with cafe and store that one can buy small memories.

  • I walked alone from the city. The Sun was shining, and it gave the trip extra plus. The wind was strong. I regretted that I had no gloves and a good hat. When I first came to the parking lot, I was disappointed. Tourism hit against me with a cabin from the Norwegian mountains, a tractor with cart that could drive you around, screaming children, dogs and well-trodden paths. SO nature took over and all the hassle was forgotten. Tailwind. Against the wind. Sand whipping beats. Beaches and the light. Pick shells. The fascinating tip where the two oceans meet.

  • Kattegat and Skagerrak, as 2 storms, fell in love, meet again and again in lidenskablig embrace. You feel at one with nature. moved, affected. run with Sandormen out and home to P square. It is a tractor with closed after.
