Øm Kloster Museum Reviews
Interessant klosterhave med mange lægeurter. Udstillingen af kranier og diverse knogler fortæller historie om hvem der blev behandlet der. Absolut et besøg værd.Hanne Kirsten more »Interesting cloister garden with many medicinal herbs. The exhibition of skulls and assorted bones tells the story of who were treated there. Definitely worth a visit. Hanne Kirsten
Meget interessant at se udgravningerne efter Øm Kloster og læse historien om klosteret og det liv der har udfoldet sig der. Kunne have ønsket flere oplysninger om Århus-bispen, der er begravet der sam... more »Very interesting to see the excavations after Monastic and read the history of the monastery and the life that has blossomed there. Would have liked more information on Aarhus-Bishop, who is buried there, as well as about Bishop Gunner in Viborg, who also had ties to Øm Abbey.
I ruinerne i Øm Kloster ligger adskillige skeletter og smiler med deres blottede tænder til turisterne, mens den franske kunstner Olivier Grossetête sammen med 150 frivillige har rejst klosterets ene ... more »In the ruins of Monastic several skeletons and smiles with their teeth Bared for the tourists, while the French artist Olivier Grossetête along with 150 volunteers have raised the Abbey's one gable in cardboard. A fun and impressive event on the occasion of the cultural capital 2017. The 17-metre-high papkonstruktion provides a snapshot of how it has set out. It was built on Saturday and demolished Sunday. Øm kloster is located in scenic surroundings, but the monastery Museum is a little dry place. 5 stars for the event-while the Museum unfortunately can only achieve 3.
A ruin of a monetary. Only parts of the foundations remain. Skeletons and medical herbs on display. The guided tour is good but not all ways available.
Museum that's really a ruin of an old convent
I think that it is a super well museum. Much to see and easily accessible. 😎👍 history being felt here. If an interested, it is a very good place for a Danish history walk in the green. 😎
Clearly, most immediately for adults with special interest in history. Here is an exquisite vue over the Lake and nature. Take a packed lunch with finally. There is also a little bit for the older children, skeletons and skulls as so take cones. My child solved the tasks as a museum detective and it was a huge success. In particular, the convent festival in august may be recommended. Membership 100 USD also applies to some other local museums otherwise hallway a fifty. Free admission for children.
A very very boring place, but there are some fine walks in the area. It is definitely a place to come back to if you get spotted the tours. There are not many benches on the way to his own coffee break so you should preferably be good cutting
