  • In fact, this huge beautiful crypt of Danish Kings and Queens. Most ceremonial Tomb-Margrethe have 1, it is not by chance, because it has United Denmark, Norway and Sweden in the middle ages. On the second floor kept her famous Golden dress. Generally, climb and explore the Museum in the Cathedral there are many interesting historical artifacts associated with the rule of Danish Kings. Oh, and the Cathedral itself (now Protestant, while the Reformation Catholic)-very beautiful and majestic from the outside. Opens at 13.00, with parking in the Centre of bad worth a stroll 2-3 quarter to center if you are by car. Tickets near the temple. Near the entrance to the cathedral complex, a library and a small collection of contemporary Danish artists.

  • Frick has been totally renovated, and the perms exhibition "Roskilde – Power and people" are divided into temporal sections from northern European metropolis in the middle ages to the city's decline after the reformation (1536) and to the present day, where Roskilde is known for art and culture and a thriving business and commercial life. The Museum uses the latest interactive information technology and there are exciting exhibitions for children.

  • Maybe we were there at the wrong day but it was really boring. There were only a few rooms open and this one's were small and boring and we had seen them in maybe 15 or 20 minutes.  more »

  • You MUST go there! It is fairly easy to get there from Copenhagen by train (great train services) and from the train station, it is a nice walk of about 20 minutes (you'll have to cross a nice park and then go through a residential area). The gift shop is amazing (could not resist) and I do recommend a tour with a guide. Next to the museum, you will see in Summer some workshops for kids and... adults! All related to the Vikings. Also, you will have many places to have a bit, or just a drink. I had the BEST beer ever there, from a local microbrewery (see the pic). I LOVE that place and I will return for sure next time I go to Copenhagen!
  • Suprisingly, a very interesting local museum. They have a really bg kids area. If you are in town for visiting the church, don't miss this museum.
  • So interesting and great fun. Really hands on and good stuff for the kids. Entertained 3 adults too, free popcorn a nice bonus
  • Sweet people, outside eating. Food ok.
  • Quality foods at the cafe but equally high pricing.
