Randers Regnskov, Randers

(4.4/5 based on 380+ reviews on the web)
Explore tropical communities of African, Asian, and South American plants and animals at Randers Regnskov. Most of the animals live free under the zoo's three domes. Wander around an Asian temple, resembling the ruins of Cambodian Angkor Wat among a family of dwarf mongooses and harmless snakes. A saltwater aquarium features 75 species of tropical fish. Parents can relax in a cafe while their children play with white rabbits and miniature pigs at a petting zoo. Buy some refreshments, and have a picnic in the park, or taste a homemade buffet of traditional Danish food in the restaurant. • The rainforest is an experience for both large and small, and with animals from several parts of the world so it is also educational for children. We are going there several times a year with our grandson of 8 years, and switches between kublerne = parts of the world, at each visit.

  • Rainforest again again. Come here several times a year with the kids. Enjoy the visit every time: it is never quite the same experience ☺

  • I've been in Randers rainforest earlier, but it is several years ago. Even though I know the place, it's always a nice experience to get there. Great built with respect for the animals, or perhaps more in "cooperation" with them. You feel transported to another world in a good way-Man is relaxed and curious animals and fauna which comes close to a. It is clear to see the animals thrive. There are always new to look at, but you have to give up good time and look in between the plants and trees. So you get the best experiences. A place to visit again and again. Can definitely recommend the place. unique
