Randers Regnskov, Randers
(4.4/5 based on 380+ reviews on the web)
Explore tropical communities of African, Asian, and South American plants and animals at Randers Regnskov. Most of the animals live free under the zoo's three domes. Wander around an Asian temple, resembling the ruins of Cambodian Angkor Wat among a family of dwarf mongooses and harmless snakes. A saltwater aquarium features 75 species of tropical fish. Parents can relax in a cafe while their children play with white rabbits and miniature pigs at a petting zoo. Buy some refreshments, and have a picnic in the park, or taste a homemade buffet of traditional Danish food in the restaurant. • Exciting animals-especially cozy is, of course, the free range animals. However, one could of course wish fewer visitors on the day you are there

  • Randers tropical Zoo is definitely worth a visit. Very friendly and accommodating staff, both in the reception area, café and zookeepers, who like to talk about the animals. It is really well made and you feel really as if you are in the jungle-the animals are happy, satisfied and not at all stressed out over the audience. We spent nearly 4 hours and it was never boring

  • In connection with visits in Randers, we visited Randers Rainforest as we had previously visited a couple of years after opening. It is still a great experience, but we were also agreed that it was probably the last time for it seemed somewhat worn and quite a lot of cages/the aquariums were out animals. But ok, it's a great place, but it is a whole back compared to the last visit

  • Great place to visit with children, but expect heat up to 45 degrees. 😤
