Memphis Mansion, Randers
(3.6/5 based on 190+ reviews on the web)
Memphis Mansion serves as a small replica of Graceland and is the only Elvis museum outside the United States. The chairman of the Danish Elvis Presley fan club, H. Knudsen, opened this event house in 2011 as the ultimate tribute to the king of rock-and-roll. The building features a museum, a small movie theater, a ballroom, wedding facilities, a souvenir shop, and an American diner which serves Elvis' favorite meals. Among displayed items, look for a small bicycle that Elvis had on his office desk. The exhibits include all the FBI files on Elvis, one of his Bibles, a guitar from 1975, a concert belt, a graduating class photo, and the rarest Elvis record released in South Africa in 1958. The shop sells items that previously belonged to the king himself. Plan to visit Memphis Mansion during your Randers vacation using our convenient Randers trip itinerary builder.

  • We met Henrik the owner and collector of the items on display and were impressed with the stories he shared about Elvis himself and some of the pieces in the exhibition. When you see the size of the M...  more »
  • Now we live only 5 min drive away. So we have been there several times. Their burgers, they must like to keep, but the kitchen, incidentally, I was very pleasantly surprised. Super high-quality food prepared with care, But the surroundings are probably a bit for McDonald's style to the get the 5. Star.

  • The House is externally identical to Graceland in Memphis, where Elvis lived until his death (42 years old). The actual Elvis Museum is located in the basement and contains everything that kingpin Henrik Knudsen has been able to scrape together of Elvis memorabilia – from an old phone Elvis has spoken in, to a a bumper Kart (which Elvis has been running in) from the local funfair in Memphis. On the ground floor there is a large gift shop and a burger restaurant. Finally, there are Banqueting rooms at 1. floor – and, of course, there is also a chicken coop outside, there is a replica of Elvis ' childhood home. That this place attracts more visitors annually than Hans Christian Andersen's House is incredible. But we came by chance to hear reason liggeren Henrik Knudsen tell about Elvis. To hear him talk about his big idol is a very great experience – in fact larger than to visit the exhibition in the basement.

  • Food is good, surroundings are perfect if you're an Elvis fan. One of the better superchargers in Denmark - far away from a city, hence less locals occupying the stall's and a nice break from the usual burger shops.
  • A fine collection, the best outside US. One to one and a half hour to go through the museum collection. More if you are a true elvis fan. Restaurant a bit pricy for the average quality. Google "hos anne marie" for a close by alternative with good local food and large portions.
  • Visited Graceland Randers and loved it. It is a tribute to Elvis. Everyone there is a true fan and promoter of Elvis' music, movies, concerts and actually keeping his name and memory alive. A lot of hard work and love shows in every aspect of the Graceland Randers experience.
  • Great fun. Very interesting Elvis museum.
  • A really good place where you get really good food
