The largest railway museum in Scandinavia, Denmark's Railway Museum boasts an impressive collection of trains, railways, carriages, mini trains, and buses from the past 150 years. Visit the funeral train that was used to transport King Frederick IX of Denmark. Check out the range of train classes from the private saloon carriage to the wooden benches of third class or climb through the many different diesel and locomotive trains. Ask about operating locomotives, as some occasionally run. Plan to see Denmark's Railway Museum and other attractions that appeal to you using our Odense itinerary builder.

  • Under reconstruction at the time of my visit, but still very cool. You get to see trains from all ages and it is rather educational in a funny way. A lot of boys of all ages seem to enjoy this museum
