We were an Association of 15 members who visited nivå-Exhibition with the painter Ditlev Blunck-it was a wonderful exhibition and definitely worth a recommendation.

This review is only for the coffee shop, the Museum and its surroundings are always worth a visit, however, one could just review them separately. I have previously visited the café in the week-end, it is not recommendable, logistics is not a large number of customers, but to get there for dinner a weekday you should try. each week a new right, and you do not pay entrance fee. It's cheap, even the wine is moderate, and this is not usual in Museum cafés. try it

This review is purely Nivaagaardsamlingens café. (The Museum we are always happy to visit, but was not inside this time). At the Café, we ordered "Friendship platter". The price of this advertised thus: 1 person: 145 USD, 2 persons DKK 275 we were 5 people, and we asked why-we-seemed very natural about twin discount was also given for the 5. person. Here, we were lectured about that-no-it's called "Friendship" to two platter (served on 1 Board) and "Lunch snack" if it is for one person, so we could only get 2 friendship plaques to the 4 plus a lunch snack for the 5. person. OK, accepted, it is so the system. Then came the server no: 1 Board for 2 people plus 1 Board for 3 people-despite the fact that 5. person after all staff statement was supposed to be an independent lunch snack. OK-if only there were the there must be, as it was when working. But that was not what was supposed to be on the chessboard for the 3 people. Karrysilden was served very stripped down, so that there was only a small piece of herring to each of the 3 persons (plus Curry and 1/2 eggs for each). It must surely be it called "collector herrings". We asked for more-this time with the-presumably-daily leader, as on a something studs way promised us more Curried herring. And it came really also on the table (and this time in absolutely abundant quantity, fair said). We also quickly had to ask for bread to get complemented (also to the other two with joint Board). There was the initial set a tray in with half a piece of rye bread per person as well as something like bread. We had to ask to have bread, supplemented, and got the chicken salad with mushroom and bacon.: On the chessboard for the 3 people there stood a small dish with very little in-two small bites chicken, the third of us had to make do with a mushroom. The Bowl was of the same size and apparently with the same content as on the chessboard for the 2 other people. But this time we are not managing to go out to disk again and "beg" for more-even though we certainly had gotten it. We found it strange that on the one hand, declares that the 5. person had to get a separate "Lunch meal" for the higher price, while at the same time so anyway serves to three people common on 1 Board and in a few of the Court he or she scraped quantity. Although, of course, we could ask for more, and also got it, we do not think it is reasonable that it should be leaked out to the counter several times to get a reasonable amount of served to the given number of persons. We are full of understanding for that one would like to avoid food waste, but so there are limits, we believe-also price taken into consideration. In addition, we find that the letter we did for it-presumably-daily leader was not greeted with any particular kind, albeit our prayers for more gave the result. The rest of the staff was sweet and friendly, must say. Mvh. Torsten M.

Lovely atmosphere, and beautifully located in park close to the coast. Fine selection of paintings, and frequently new exhibitions.

The Museum has a nice little permanent collection of international Renaissance and the golden age of Danish painting. . as well as excellent and well equipped Department for changing exhibitions of generally high level. Thereto a fine dining place and a large and beautifully landscaped park with a large collection of rhododendron.

Nivaagaards painting collection currently has a great exhibition with the forgotten golden age painter Ditlev Blunck and the park with the great rhododendron bushes are certainly worth a visit.
