Trip Planner: Europe / Denmark / Zealand / South Zealand / Vordingborg Municipality / Moen / Mons Klint
Made of the remains of shells from millions of microscopic sea creatures, Mons Klint fall 120 m (394 ft) to the sea below. The cliffs emerged at the end of the Ice Age about 11,000 years ago. Marked paths help walkers, riders, and cyclists discover the surroundings. Vantage points along the edge offer views of the sea. Take the stairs to get to the beach. Look for fossils and ambers along the shore, and watch for orchids under the stairs. The cliffs are home to the peregrine falcon, the world's fastest bird, and the rare large blue butterfly. Visit the 18th century park at the northern end of the cliffs that features small houses, ponds, and rolling lawns. Our Moen tour app makes visiting Mons Klint and other Moen attractions simple, and helps you make a travel plan personal to you.

This place won't let you stop wondering! The cliffs are spectacular! Enjoy the beach or neverending paths in woods on the top of the breathtaking cliffs. Swimming is also cool (literally in September😉). It is a place for various activities. I personally love it. ❤️
Beautiful! If you visit early, you can walk the small stone beach without a bunch of tourists. Very beautiful cliffs!
Beatiful cliff and views (at least you can see something that reminds mountains in Denmark)! A bit smelly on the seaside and it’s quite uncomfortable to walk on pebbles. Otherwise a great experience!
Nature at its best! Impressive cliffs Serious walk down 460 steps Fossil hunting along the beach 500 steps back up with a few kilos of rocks and a few fossils. Fun geology museam with the kids.
Absolutely awesome ! especially when taking the time to park at the lighthouse, hike along the beach and the take the second stairs up and then hike back to the lighthouse on top of the cliffs.
