Trapholt, Kolding

(4.3/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web)
Discover Nanna Ditzel's furniture, Richard Mortensen paintings, and Arne Jacobsen's Kubeflex home at Trapholt. A team of architects designed the museum around a long wall reminiscent of the "running fence" project by the Bulgarian-American landscape artist Christo. The interior of the long wall serves as a museum walkway, which separates the parking lot from the sculpture garden. Bring a packed lunch for a picnic in the apple orchard overlooking Kolding Fjord. The museum also houses collections of handicrafts, mainly pottery and textiles, and contemporary Danish furniture, including more than 500 chairs from the 20th century. Put Trapholt on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Kolding vacation trip planner.

  • Super interesting museum, great innovative exhibition "your exhibition", fun to try, to be liquidator. We were fortunate enough to get a tour of Arne Jacobsen's cottage.

  • We headed to the Trapholt Art Museum to see the exhibition "Accused". Art and design in court. We had heard mention of exhibition on the radio. Should probably note that the exhibition was put together a bit of hr_satish. My expectations were high and they were not disappointed. There was definitely more POV in the exhibition. The biggest hit for us was the feature of Superflex. Yes and, not least, Nadia's art and story-telling. However, the term had been even stronger Superfex would, if we had chosen to take 7 ' Eren and by the low level of the Ant. "An original becomes a copy". Is it a new original? Made at the exhibition questions-but I get as a viewer response. It is an exhibition that underestimates its guests ' ability to think for themselves and give the answer in advance. More integrated on the other hand, the clash was of pure estrogen in the exhibition "excess pressure". How to! 5 women with power. Here overshadows no the other. The curator has been sharp in cooperation with the 5. There remains a strong adventure idiom that appeals to adults as well as children. But we came to see "the Accused" and the disappointed hideously. Remember there is only buffet on weekends. When one daily waiting in line at a workplace with buffet so bother you not also use his weekend at the same. We chose to eat somewhere.
