  • We first went to the local artists' section, which was really not our cap of tea, not modern (even 60's), not particularly pretty, and not well explained. Then we went to two exceptional exhibitions, Homeless souls and Generation wealth. These are cutting edge modern, well-explained, convey strong social messages, and thought provoking. The garden is pretty and pleasant as well. We spent there 4 hours overall.
  • Well worth the half day trip out of Copenhagen. Excellent contemporary art in an idyllic country side and sea setting. Sculpture art and thought provoking modern art exhibitions. The museum shop has many temptations for fans of Danish design.
  • Wonderful place. The museum has very interesting collections, but the surroundings are also very beautiful. You can enjoy a lovely garden with an incredible view of the sea. A small beach is also at walking distance. Perfect place also for families. My children loved it!
  • You can use Louisiana in several ways: as a museum of modern art with a lot of things to see, as a beautiful park with interesting art objects and cozy nature landscapes or/and as a very nice place to eat with a sea view. It worth going and spending time there. If you don't feel yourself to be a fan of contemporary art, you can try anyway, it's so different - maybe this time you would like it ;)
  • It's really worth a visit (or even two). We arrived planning to stay for an hour or two and we ended up being 5 hours touring the exhibitions, walking by and relaxing in the facilities in and out of the museum. We saw three exhibitions which where delightfully curated and very well arranged along the visit. Staff were nice and inviting and the little terraced garden alongside with the beach was a perfect end to it. Thank you a lot and i really hope coming back!
