  • Has previously been very positive, but my visit this time was disappointing. The great Hall was empty and elsewhere there was bland and uprovokerende installations. It might Kviums sketches not lift-it was, after all, a well known so long. But wait me if I did not look in again a second time.

  • little to see, not interactive, which often is the case in Danish museums. Too bad, the place is beautiful.

  • Horsens Art museum is a small museum on top of Horsens. The location is so literally at the top of the beautiful park in Horsens, called the Grove. Originally art building a pavilion built by the local skyttelaug in the mid 1800 's, where also the Park and the other buildings in the Grove was built. The Museum focuses on contemporary art, experimental art from about 1980 onwards. Publikumsmagneten is without a doubt the handful of large canvases of Kvium, which is located in the living room. In a medium time is also some sketches of Kvium, the old Horsens boy. It is a nyhophængning, so check the Museum's website for current status on Kvium, if that is what you are going for. As I said, it is a small museum, but the few works comes really to their right in the big, beautiful space, which is an attraction in itself. A smaller Hall featuring pictures of Mogens Ziegler, a kunstrner in style, who also lived-Heerup in the local area. Sweet and a little out of place. The Museum has also a part works by Ib Braase. His works works unfortunately hopelessly outdated and in no way matches the style and the level that would otherwise have been put on the spot. These silly skrumler has well and truly gnawed in the ravages of time and thereby made frivolous for a current context. It should be thrown in the archive-if there is space. A large hall is devoted to changing exhibitions, as in rules is excellent. Overall, Horsens Museum well worth a visit. It is cheap to get in and there is also a small, cosy café and museumshop.
