  • Prison in Horsens is an attraction of international class. The old prison buildings has a troubled history of a Danish jail. To get around about many things, and even though it takes as its starting point in something very sad, you feel that behind it all is a respect for the people behind these fates. Of course, the story of the vanishing Kings Lacey a gem, but there are many other things that are very interesting. For example, the Church Hall. Dedicate a minimum of three hours to visit. There is also a very nice café.

  • The old Prison in Horsens is well worth a visit. The price is ok and children up to 17 years of age are free of charge. One enters and can then choose whether you want to be a catch or a guardian, you get a sign with them along the way and as scans at the end you get so the whole story of the one you selected. There is a light show with shadows and sounds like one day would be in there. Not suitable for disabled guests or wheelchair user, when you go up and down the aisles. Wildly exciting was it to see a prisoner named Lacey escape from there was going on, how he dug at night a secret tunnel. There is also a nice little cafe if you would be hungry. Large concerts are also held there. Take a walk in the prison, can be well recommended. Janne Mouritzen Denmark

  • Super exciting experience. When we visited the Museum, you could choose one of 8 (think it was 8 or 10) people, as one would follow through the Museum, which gave a quite extraordinarily exciting element to the experience. If it is interesting to see how jail has evolved in history, how inmates and employees have depicted everyday life, then it is clearly a place for you. It's very text based, so be aware of it, if you have children. But clearly, it is recommended to use a couple of hours or more in there. :)

  • A great place to visit. Very interesting and interactive.
  • Really informative and well made museum. The guidedtours are worth the extra payment. Takes one hour then you need atleast 1-2 hours to see the rest in detail.
  • A really special place. The rough old place is now used for concerts, shows and other fun stuff. You can even rent a room here. My company once rented it for a party, and it was real special dining in the old cells and looking down on the party in the bottom of the cell block - just like in a prison movie, just more fun.
  • A great and interact place to visit.
  • Fun to be out there you can learn how the prisoners lived and much more.
