  • We were on a visit here at the weekend, and seem at first impression that it was a very pleasant and manageable little place. We walked around and looked at all the birds first and ended up eventually in rabbit House. In rabbit House smelled as if there were no muget out for several days, and several of the cages had obviously only got down new strew straw on top of the old. The Guinea Pigs we took up to ae was full of dandruff in the coat and with wounds at the eyes and so generally very grubby and long-haired. I myself have had guinea pigs, so know how a well cared for animals should look like. I can see that many of the positive reviews are from 2014, but will say that the quality is probably not on the same level as at the time. The playground was really nice, and the Café also saw nice out, but I am in doubt if I would pay and support a place where animals do not look as if they are well cared for. I am not a vet and not dealing with animals on a daily basis, so technically I do not assess the animal welfare akn, but the impression was that the situation was not good enough for some of the animals.

  • Nice quiet place where one can walk around and socialize with the animals. There are both Pat goats and small rabbits and Guinea pigs as you can visit with young children. In addition, there is a nice playground and good opportunities to grill a sausage with the family.

  • We were visiting in Hobro Zoo in summer with two grandchildren. It is an inexpensive and cosy place for toddlers. A really good playground and many tables and benches as you can enjoy the food. There were also goose grill in many places so there is scope enough if you do not want to buy the food. Many animals and birds to look at. The kids enjoyed it
