  • Great views from the lighthouse. The surrounding bunkers are really worth visiting as well when you are here. Lighthouse offers a small glimpse of a long gone history.  more »
  • This area is great as it also includes some nice WW2 history. The lighthouse itself is spectacular, and when it is storm/very windy even better.  more »
  • At my visit it was possible to walk around in the area around the lighthouse and the "bunker museum". The surrounddings are very fine.  more »
  • This lighthouse was really great to visit! The place is really picturesque and typical Danish. The view from the top is fantastic! Best part with our visit was that Søfartsstyrelsen was doing their annual service and the technician was really great explaining how it all worked. Even better was that we were temporarily allowed to go all the way up into the glass portion. This was absolutely amazing and a once in a time opportunity! We really appreciated being allowed this opportunity because our kids were amazed by it also.
  • Great view from Råbjerg Knude to Skagen. The light house is very well kept, and you get a good top m view of the bunker area next to the light house. You should definitely visit the bunker area if you go here.
  • Very well maintained and worth a visit
  • Nice view from the top.
  • The climb is long and hard, but the view from the top is quite something if you're not as scared of heights and falling down as I was. I have no pictures because it's high up, usually windy, and I didn't want lose neither myself nor my phone at the top. It's very fascinating, because you don't just have the N-W-S-E directions, but also signs aimed at cities both in Denmark and across the sea. It's definitely a place to see for yourself, and just take in the fresh Hirtshals air and the view. Please use the bathroom at a gas station or something before you go there, because the attached bathroom is very old, and it's impressive that they even have running water. I'd highly suggest checking it out between late spring to early fall, however, as it's a coastal and often windy city, and can get awfully cold during the winter. This is Scandinavia, after all.
