4.2/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web
The collections of M/S Maritime Museum of Denmark tell the story of Denmark as one of the world's leading shipping nations. Follow the sloping bridges down to the old dry dock between Kronborg Castle and The Culture Yard to enter the underground museum. The exhibitions feature a fleet of merchant ships and personal stories linked to the museum's collections from the past four centuries. Interactive installations and games provide opportunities for playing and learning together with others. Experience the role of the captain, or sit behind the desk of the shipping executive conducting world trade in today's marketplace. Many exhibits are expressed using a set design and a film projected directly onto the architecture of the building. • Got a nice and rewarding tale of our shipping from 1400 century onwards. A very beautiful interior design and we also got a beautiful tale of the architect of the Studio BIG. Impressive what they have done around the world. So definitely worth a visit.

  • Interactive, great for kids, get your own tattoo, everything you ever wanted to know about the sea sailors or ships. I enjoyed the antique measurement tools, depth gauges, navigation. Store is expensive but great quality, clothing books and soap. Architecture is unusually laid out, interesting in its own right.
  • Innovative building. The exhibition content can be underwhelming, but presumably this depends. Definitely worth visiting if you are interested in architecture and adaption.
  • Design really cool and guided you through well in a quirky session. Pricey but nice gift shop
  • Rigtig spændende
  • Great location, great experience.
