  • It was great fun showing my daughter how technology strategy seemed, when I was 12 years old. Cassette deck and was super fun to show her. Just headed a old tv with screen saver we had much fun out of. But the hit was an old phone with the Potter's wheel and mønttelefonen. A lovely Saturday morning we had here.

  • The Technical Museum of Denmark is situated in Elsinore, 45 minutes by train from Copenhagen. The museum has collected a lot of the technical story of Denmark, - the story of television in Denmark, - ...  more »
  • Have been there several times with my grandchild (boy) it is wildly exciting for both large and small. Also because that one can be allowed to sit inside the aircraft and cars, etc. You may both see and touch.

  • I'm a regular visitor to this museum. Here you will find airplanes, cars, trucks, rescue vehicles, motorcycles, steam engines, locomotives and even a small submarine. There is also a model railway and a computer exhibit. Good place for both kids and adults. There's a lot of fun interactive activities especially for the kids. Be sure to bring some change. About half of the attractions for the kids will cost another 2-10 DKK. The information boards are in danish language only, which is quite unusual for a museum of this size. There's a small cafeteria and museum shop by the entrance.
  • Nice museum to spend a few hours with kids, the space is not heated so bring a coat!
  • My 8 year old kid just love this place. Pull the stick on a fighterjet! But it could benefit from some funding from Danish industry companies.
  • This museum offers a clear picture of the progress of the past centuries. It's a great opportunity to see so many things that were considered real gadgets at their time :). Everything from old planes, cars, bikes, combs, clothes, phones can be found in here. Give yourself the time and the patience to explore all of them. The only thing that could be improved would be adding details in English too, as not all of them have.
  • Old planes you can walk inside, old cars, and old bikes. There are even a few slow electric go karts for the kids. It's a little out of the way, but if you're in Elsinore for the castle you should go the extra way for this museum.
