  • Arrived at Hanstholm in order to spend an hour on a tarzan path, which, however, turned out to be long since discontinued. Kustoden at museumscenter Hanstholm informed us about this but suggested that we followed the blue route (1.7 km) around the area-now we were there and it was a really positive experience! Exciting and a little bit creepy for my five-year-old daughter. She was so excited that she would wear the yellow route also. However, it is 7 km, so we settled for taking little brother on two with the Red (1.2 km) where we found both Sea buckthorn and wild blackberries-in addition to the bunkers of course. Overall a very good experience, good information and good map illustration (was handed over at the Museum Center). Beautiful nature and quite free. Can clear are also recommended for the four-legged. However, not for strollers or walking difficulties.

  • With the fully restored bunker Museum is worth a visit. A small train enters the second bunker which has not been restored. It's two bunker are very large. For lovers of historic sites to abandonment don't forget your flashlight to explore the abandoned bunker. Not many people goes there and he is very nice size and its conservation. Accessed freely after the small train platform by continuing straight. Allow at least two hours for good enjoy the place, especially the Museum which is very large.

  • It is an impressive exhibition which has just opened now in years! Very nice and informative! And then there is a nice cafe-if you just want to sit!

  • Closes at 4 pm. Somewhat of a ridiculous closing time. Nevertheless there is a LOT of bunkers and naval gun firing positions dotted around the forest that you can visit ree of charge anytime regardless of their silly museum open times.
  • Europe's largest military fortification is a must-see.
  • Very very Museum are weapons, image line, equipment just as images and texts to are a description of the grounds which on foot or with the former monitionsbahn (in the summer) to explore many bunkers, ist.die are open and that not prepared so necessarily take flashlight most.
