  • A smallish but interesting museum on several floors of an old building - costs DKK75. The stairs are somewhat steep and narrow, but you can get a key card from the reception to access the other floors...  more »

  • I loved this museum. They really put you in the shoes of the working class as it's changed since the early twentieth century up until today, and also touch on social issues while they're at it. A family who loves in Copenhagen for several decades and preserved their apartment donated it to the museum and you can see all of their appliances and even the decorations from their walls. A great way to experience history that is very recent and yet often feels worlds away due to the massive changes that took place during the last century.
  • A really interesting museum! I wasn't expecting too much from this, but it was fascinating! Great to see history from a different angle. It's over multiple floors and spread across lots of eras and rooms. There's even a flat that was donated by a woman and the items/wallpaper/doors have even been moved over into this building to recreate it. A great insight into someone's everyday life across the decades. The site itself had been bought by the worker's party and its history comes right up to the modern day. There's a small cafe where you can try food/drink from an earlier age. The shop is really good and has some really interesting items. Would be a good place for buying some unique holiday gifts!
  • We went here for a company event. The facilities are nice and the food was alright as well. The working-class vibe is present but not too on the nose
  • I was super excited to visit this museum, but it's very difficult for English only speakers. I'll also warn you, like many places in Denmark, it isn't air-conditioned.
  • A very interesting little museum. In what was workers accommodation and union meeting hall. Gives a superb insight into the everyday life of ordinary working families.
