Tycho Brahe Planetarium, Copenhagen
Categories: Observatories, Museums
Find the answers to some of the mysteries of space at Tycho Brahe Planetarium. The big dome-shaped screen in the space theater will make you feel like you are part of the movie. Watch IMAX and 3-D movies that can transport you on a journey to the infinite universe, back to the dinosaur era, or below sea level. The planetarium gives a brief introduction to the current night sky before each show. The permanent exhibit on astronomy and space travel features one of the largest pieces of moon rock in the world. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, Copenhagen holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Tycho Brahe Planetarium and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

For me the most disappointing experience in Copenhagen. The exhibition is very small and aimed at young children. Thank goodness I used my Copenhagen Card and didn't have to pay the 144DKK entrance fee.
Very special and good cinema. It has a big round screen unlike most cinemas. Besides that it has an accessible entrance and accessible toilets.
Nice and updated iMax movies program. There is also a space exhibition in the entrance hall, mostly for kids 5-12. The movies are dubbed in danish, but you can buy headset for 20 kroner and get original English narrator.

This museum has a very nice planetarium. To bad not everything is translated.
It's ok. Movie was nice, good quality. The exhibition was small and maybe two things were exciting.
