  • I have been on Papirøen several times and come again. The place is ... like nowhere else in Copenhagen and a must-see for tourists (and also for city-dwellers). Key words: many people, socialize out as inside, nice music, good atmosphere, children and adults, but most young and slightly older from the middle class. Atmosphere of a very special category! The food is not the greatest experience, but udemærker them know that a company can buy food from different places and even sit down and eat it, where you want. The view of Copenhagen from the terassecontainere, the trip over the bridge from Nyhavn and inderhavns out there, bålstedet in front of the Hall, the lounge chairs against the water ... Try it before it is too late!

  • Took a trip to papirøen. Had heard so much about it nor was disappointed. when I arrived. There were many small eateries. But seems almost to alcohol establishments, dominated papirøen. Haven't been there recently, but for some day so I am probably way past again. However, it must be said that parking in the area near the papirøen is extremely expensive.

  • When we went on the canal tour, I saw people sitting on the pier eating, drinking and basking in the sun. Since I always enjoy dining where the locals do, we headed to the market to explore the local flavors. Tasty open sandwiches, as well as food from all over the world. We found a table outside which allowed us to enjoy the gorgeous view.
  • Great city, water, and opera house views but the best part was the warehouse full of vendors selling street food representing countries from all over the world. Fun!
  • This is a great "hipster" location comprising of a collection of street food vendors and pub-stands all housed in an old paper factory. Seating inside can become cramped, especially if the weather is not good. On evenings with fine weather sitting outside around one of the communal fire pits can make for interesting conversation with strangers.
  • If you like street food, This is the place to go.
  • The street food market wasn't there when I went so it was just freezing lol
