  • Went there on recommendation by our Air BnB host and we heard that this place, which is the original one will be torn down in autumn and newly rebuild on the other side of the bridge. The weather was ...  more »

  • Great street food from all over the world in low prices for Copenhagen. Attracts a lot of young people and would highly recommend it for eating while strolling down from Nyhnavn.  more »

  • This a great place to come with friends and try street food from different parts of the world. The prices are high but the atmosphere is pretty cool, specially on weekends when everyone is dancing and having a good time. Since sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit, you can make reservations.
  • Every food you could imagine and they're all competing with each other so they all step their game up! Had pulled duck sandwich, lemon ginger chicken skewers, Danish apple cake and chocolate truffle bit, and an amazing fresh juice! Kind of expensive, but worth it! I'm going back tomorrow!
  • A huge indoors place with lots of food trucks for tasting the world. The only place that's best to come to when it's actually crowded and with tourists for the atmosphere. I would definitely avoid coming when it's not crowded, the food is less fresh and atmosphere is nonexistent. Healthy or fast and fried, Asian or western, vegetarian/vegan or not, you will be able to find something for you. Slightly pricy even for Copenhagen as you can find the same food in restaurants across the city at a slightly cheaper price, you are paying for the experience, and the outdoors view when the weather is warm if you are lucky.
  • Great food, good music and ambiance. Definitely a place to go if your in Copenhagen. The pulled duck we had there was amazing !
  • Always completely crowded but the variety of street food is amazing. Everyone finds something to their taste.

Where to stay in Copenhagen

Most of the hotels in Copenhagen are located in the central Vesterbro or hip Indre By areas, though there are many more adventurous (and somewhat more affordable) places to stay during your vacation. As in the rest of Denmark, accommodations in Copenhagen are quite expensive. If you're traveling on a tight budget, consider camping along the Mølleå River or staying in one of the city's many backpacker hostels. If you prefer an inexpensive hotel, explore options in the Helgolandsgade and Colbjørnsensgade neighborhoods. For a taste of Denmark's art scene, head to the up-and-coming Kongens Nytorv and Nyhavn areas. Travelers who like to stay outside of the main tourist areas should set their sights on one of the city's suburbs, like the northern section where you can stay at a beachfront hotel or on a houseboat.
