Oresund Bridge, Copenhagen
(4.3/5 based on 1,400+ reviews on the web)
Drive or take a bus ride across Oresund Bridge, the longest cable-tied road and rail bridge in Europe. Spanning about 8 km (5 mi), the structure runs from the Swedish coast to an artificial island in the middle of the Oresund Sound. An underwater tunnel completes the crossing to the other side of the sound, linking the metropolitan areas of Copenhagen and Malmo. The bridge consists of two railway tracks and four road lines supported by tall concrete towers that allow 57 m (187 ft) of headroom for ships passing beneath the structure. Avoid long delays on the bridge by checking current traffic and weather conditions before you hit the road. • You have to take a train from Copenhageg Central station to Sweden, but it is worthy. I highly recommend it.
  • A bridge and a tunnel, a road/railway route, connected to each other via an artificial islet to a length of about 15 kilometers (under the sea for almost 5 kilometers, outdoors on the island for another 5 and on the bridge for over 4 kilometres). Technical work inaugurated in July 2000 to climb over a stretch of the Baltic Sea and allow direct connection between Copenhagen and Malmö in less than half an hour. We are faced with a wonderful feat of Engineering (the studio that developed the project's Danish: Dissing-Weitling) as this is the longest cable-stayed bridge in Europe with a central span of almost 500 meters. We traversed on the roads and the sensations you feel before the climb over the sea and subsequently in plunging into it, are thrilling. I think, as you would appreciate an excellent sorvolandolo at low altitude in order to realize the grandeur of the building.

  • For about 11 to 13 USD you can cross the straights between Malmö and Copenhagen by train ( or bus ) or by car, you will need to pass passport control when travelling to Sweden

  • This bridge was fantastic. It was really expensive but as I only crossed it once, totally worth the price. I had a really positive experience being up so high above the ships and the windmills with the strong gusts rocking the car back and forth before eventually transitioning into a tunnel mid-crossing. Very cool!
  • Really beautiful bridge that connects to malmö sweden and copenhagen denmark. Its very impressive.but its very costly. Tollgate robbed us for 150 singapore dollar😜
  • Famous from the TV series the Bridge, the bridge connects Malmö with Copenhagen- the bridge has two decks with the trains traveling on the lower deck and vehicle's on the top deck. Quick and easy connection between two great cities.
  • Bad location. My family sat down at our table and got hit by a truck. Otherwise good service.
  • Amazing piece of engineering, we were surprised how long it took to cross to Sweden. Bucket list must do... an outstanding piece of civil engineering.
