  • We only visited this as we spotted it next door to the Design Museum. It was a really thoughtfully curated museum and opened my eyes to medical history in a way I've never experienced before. I felt t...  read more »
  • We got a guided tour of "the collected human". Good review and good anecdotes about the exhibited parts and we walked away with a lot of new knowledge about the first surgical work in DK. Maybe more time to look at the articles themselves-be curious-before there was told about them.

  • Museum suitable for students and medical and healthcare professions. Inside there is a remarkable collection of malformed fetuses and infants congeneticamente collected from the 19th to the 20th century: they were used for the training of midwives and gynaecologists both for scientific research. Really interesting for those who are in the field.

  • At the moment I have visited the medical museum, not all of it was opened, but I think I got the most out of it. It does have a lot of rooms and some interesting exhibits but it still looks pale and not particulary updated. As oposed to other museums in Copenhagen, this one seems to only house the permanent exhibition and does not have any temporary exhibitions or events. The nicest thing about it is the Frederiksberg Hospital pharmacy, which is quite impressive. I only recommend checking this place if you're finished with the other attractions or if you have a keen interest in medicine.
