  • This statue you won't miss if walk on old town square or Strogetu. It is in front of the old town hall in the year 1914. On a high stone column installed a bronze sculpture of two Vikings who trumpeted the lure. Legend has it that Vikings kinship in the event of an attack on the country that will awaken the hero Holger Kronborg Castle, or if past will be held innocent girl. It is a very ancient instrument, which appeared earlier than the trumpet and trombone. Its shape reminds a mammoth tusk and publishes a loud powerful sounds. Lurs over the centuries were the most common musical instrument in Scandinavia. Archaeologists found them throughout the country. And it is not even about the Viking age, and about times of much more ancient. The first instruments found date back to the VIII century BC my favorite statue in Copenhagen.

  • This sculpture with two heralds stands on a high plinth, resembles a column in Piazza San Marco in Venice, near the magnificent building of Hotel Palace. We've seen her girlfriend when went on a tour of the town. A monument put up a hundred years ago, on the occasion of the 100 anniversary of the founder of the brewery Carlsberg Jacobsen.
