  • It is always a pleasure to visit White's wine bar, friendly polite service and no disruptive elements.

  • If you are looking for some place with a lot of character, this is it! It is very old (1723, I believe), filled with well-worn wood decor, and has a list of famous historical visitors. There are only ...  more »

  • Excellent pub in the heart of Copenhagen. This place makes a nice change from the trendy bars and themed pubs which you find in the city centre. The beer is just the usual Tuborg offering but its OK. Average beer prices for Copenhagen. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The interior probably hasn't change for 50 year or more, that's a bonus. Hviids Vinstue is defiantly worth a visit. Enjoy!
  • "Quaint wine bar" does not describe the history, oozing from the walls in this ages-old establishment. Frequented by Icelandic students in the 17- and 18th century
  • Old style pub with character features. Nice bottled beers and cold open sandwiches. They could turn up the heating a bit
  • Great location, easy access to transit incl. Metro to Kastrup airport, or on to Malmo in Sweden. Lots of history. Properly dressed waiters, serving great food, cold beers n wine. Others have mentioned the spiced wine, n I agree it is good n well worth a visit when the rest of the world is running mad trying to find that last minute Christmas gift. Only a few minutes from Nyhavn, with its many restaurants and some very good hotels (that you have mentioned recently). One can also do canal tours from Nyhavn. Royal Theatre right there, as is access to the famous pedestrian street: Stroeget. Summing it up: great atmosphere, close to everything, food, beverages and people watching. And a relative short walk to Tivoli Gardens.
