  • Yeah, nice statue of this gentleman, reminds me my children times. Very easily findable just next to City hall and in front of Tivoli gardens.
  • Wonderful statue of Hans Christian Anderson. Easy find its across the road from the main tivoli gates and beside city hall and must see for any fairytale fan
  • From Stroget we walked to the Town hall and took our turn sitting on the knee of Hans christian Anderson . Just had to do it.

  • A great man who wrote wonderful stories. It's nice to see him immortalized.
  • 1. Sit on his knee 2. Take a photograph 3. Share your adventure
  • That's a statue, nothing more. I kinda wonder why this one isn't Copenhagen's symbol, instead of the rather diminutive little mermaid...
  • it is a great statue
  • I had a pleasant stay. You could see and hear some of the stories Mr Andersen wrote. One negative thing was that the receptionist tried to make us go to the other museum too (there's another one in the building), and it seemed she was only after our money. But other than that, it was quite great. A bit small, but still not too small.
