Danes believe their capital city a great storyteller. Andersen considered the day of his arrival from his native Odense in Copenhagen — 6 September 1819 year is essential in life and celebrated along with the birthday. convenient meeting place in Copenhagen.

  • That's a statue, nothing more. I kinda wonder why this one isn't Copenhagen's symbol, instead of the rather diminutive little mermaid...

  • I had a pleasant stay. You could see and hear some of the stories Mr Andersen wrote. One negative thing was that the receptionist tried to make us go to the other museum too (there's another one in the building), and it seemed she was only after our money. But other than that, it was quite great. A bit small, but still not too small.
