Hans Christian Andersen Place, Copenhagen
Categories: Specialty Museums, Museums
Hans Christian Andersen Place, or the fairy-tale house, will guide you through some universally known stories, such as the Emperor's New Clothes and Little Mermaid. The house features fiberglass figures arranged in a series of tableaux with lighting effects and a three-lingual sound system in Danish, English, and German. Visit the writer's study to hear him giving an account of his life and travels. Quiz questions on boxes and barrels make the exhibit more interesting for kids. The museum also features a handwritten manuscript and a collection of props and appliances that belonged to the writer. Admission is free with the Copenhagen Card. Use our Copenhagen trip itinerary maker to visit Hans Christian Andersen Place on your trip to Copenhagen, and learn what else travelers and our writers recommend seeing nearby.

Thorbjørn KühlI'm not sure why you can notify statues, but if it must be so, I would say that this irgrønne statue might well be able to penetrate to a proper pudsetur, but otherwise it is large and beautiful statue of our perhaps most famous writers ever! Come, sit down and read a fairy tale to your loved one, and try not to shed a tear when you read about the girl seller!show original
