  • Diversity of records, interactive because children many things can do/touch/experience. If fun was experienced. Though dated in style. For large family (4 kids) we got discount of 1 child. Many museums are free to 17 yr. This save. Perhaps price though, but investing in modernisation.

  • aware of light, making a visit nn we thought was so short and hurt. We were hoping it was developed in a more fun and detailed. Buy the book is best done

  • Some fun things in there, but more of a cashgrab from tourists, as it's mainly walking around reading signs. Buy the book of records instead.
  • Small museum, bears lots of signs of being less than fully maintained. Not too expensive, and worth a visit if you have about 1-1½ hours to kill.
  • We went to the Mystical Observation museum, which was right behind this one, and it was great fun. Lots of interactive things to do, good for a fairly quick visit as it's not too big.
  • Really run down and a lot if the records are now out of date. There's so much reading with some parts- they could have put more effort into how they displayed the records to people. Definitely not worth the money and there's far better things to do with you time.
  • Fun place. The extra mystery tour not worth it. But main museum is good!

Where to stay in Copenhagen

Most of the hotels in Copenhagen are located in the central Vesterbro or hip Indre By areas, though there are many more adventurous (and somewhat more affordable) places to stay during your vacation. As in the rest of Denmark, accommodations in Copenhagen are quite expensive. If you're traveling on a tight budget, consider camping along the Mølleå River or staying in one of the city's many backpacker hostels. If you prefer an inexpensive hotel, explore options in the Helgolandsgade and Colbjørnsensgade neighborhoods. For a taste of Denmark's art scene, head to the up-and-coming Kongens Nytorv and Nyhavn areas. Travelers who like to stay outside of the main tourist areas should set their sights on one of the city's suburbs, like the northern section where you can stay at a beachfront hotel or on a houseboat.
