  • One can't help but stare in wander at this beautifully constructed architecture. Set in between two smaller row buildings, the church is depicted even more majestic.
  • I am an architectural buff and this is one of the reasons that I wanted to visit Copenhagen. It did not disappoint at all. I was awed at its scale and design. A masterpiece well done! No entry fee, op...  more »

  • An extremely grand church that still feels humble with its wicker chairs, and practically no decoration on the inside whatsoever. The high ceiling, grey brick interior and imposing facade give this church it's own unique feel.
  • Impressive church, a mixture of several architectural styles, made of six million yellow bricks. It has two organs, one of them having a pipe 11 meters tall, the biggest in Scandinavia. The great organ is regularly used for concerts. It is open to visitors all year round, not just at the times of services. Popular place for tourists, it is highly recommended for a visit.
  • Approach Grundvigs Kirken through the church grounds across the road to get the full impact of this extraordinary structure. Inside it is even more impressive, beautiful and calming. The 6a bus from Vesterbrogade will get you to this part of town for 24kr.
  • Simply put - the most beautiful church I've ever been in
  • A beautiful church on the outskirts of Copenhagen. Well worth the visit. Biking here is easiest.
