  • If you handle an outboard motor you may want to see the city from the sea side. An hour to 90 minutes is sufficient for that round they recommend. You get an explanation and a map, and life jackets. Our children got home and bag to pick garbage on the trip, with the promise of prize afterwards. It went to pick the sport in the most. Alternatively it can be purchased beverages to have with A great way to see Copenhagen.

  • My best friend's girlfriend, would like to experience Copenhagen, so it was 1 hour in Copenhagen channel with champagne and wine. A great way to experience the city! However, one must remember to show respect, since many boaters, kayakers, sightseeing boats and Canal tours. These sailors are moving not just, and the boats can be cumbersome to manage until you just get the letter on it. Ideal for a romantic date or picnic with the family.

  • Forgot those large, tourist filled boats and charter your own electric boat for a few hours. The staff are great, provide you with a map how to navigate and spots to see. You can tour at your own pace...  more »

  • Really easy booking system online. They have an app coming soon also. Helpful and easy orientation. A spacious boat with a big picnic table on it. They sell sodas and a small snack selection but be sure to bring a picnic lunch to get the most out of it. Very easy to drive the boat even for a first timer. An excellent way to explore the canals and see the great architecture of Copenhagen. Felt very safe even with an infant and toddler on board. We rented for 2 hours but 90 minutes was our limit with the small children. We'll definitely go again and recommend it to all of our out of town visitors.
  • Most fun we have had on the water! Great service, friendly faces and such a great experience! Came with 24 guys and spent two hours on the canals drinking beer and checking out the sights. Perfect activity!
  • The boats are easy to navigate and give you a different view of the city. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We bougt a breakfast and had it on the boat while gently cruising Copenhague harbour. If you have some spare time, it's definitely worth a go !
  • First our motor was loose. The staff guy warned us about it but just sent us out anyway. They had to come out and fix it. Later our motor completely broke and we could only move extremely slow. They had to come out with their own boat and tow us all the way back. All in all, extremely unprofessional especially for the price, which is definitely not cheap. Would not recommend - try another company, there are more of those who rent out boats.
  • This is really fun, renting a boat, cruising on the river and having some drinks. Staff could be a little bit more helpful when entering and leaving the boat

Where to stay in Copenhagen

Most of the hotels in Copenhagen are located in the central Vesterbro or hip Indre By areas, though there are many more adventurous (and somewhat more affordable) places to stay during your vacation. As in the rest of Denmark, accommodations in Copenhagen are quite expensive. If you're traveling on a tight budget, consider camping along the Mølleå River or staying in one of the city's many backpacker hostels. If you prefer an inexpensive hotel, explore options in the Helgolandsgade and Colbjørnsensgade neighborhoods. For a taste of Denmark's art scene, head to the up-and-coming Kongens Nytorv and Nyhavn areas. Travelers who like to stay outside of the main tourist areas should set their sights on one of the city's suburbs, like the northern section where you can stay at a beachfront hotel or on a houseboat.
