Create an itinerary including Frederiksberg Have
Enjoy the natural landscape of one of the largest green spaces in Denmark at Frederiksberg Have. Originally established in connection with the construction of Frederiksberg Palace, the park was designed as an English-style landscape garden, complete with winding paths, lakes, large trees, waterfalls, and grottoes. It is now a nice place to have a picnic, hold group gatherings, feed the ducks and swans, or simply take a leisurely walk. Stop by the castle in the middle of the park, or take a boat ride. Be sure to check out the famous "elephant viewpoint," where visitors can often catch glimpses of the elephants at the neighboring zoo. • Scenic. Lots of birds. It was a cool day but pleasant. My wife and I strolled around enjoying the view and atmosphere, and walking off our recent large meal.

  • Absolutely beautiful park, my new favorite spot in all Copenhagen! The mature trees and lovely expansive lawns are a wonderful backdrop to any day, and watching the ducks and storks on the river added to the ambiance. I highly recommend a few hours on a rainy July morning to start your day.
  • Most beautiful garden in Copenhagen. Excellent for a stroll or a jog. Great ice cream parlor nearby and a nice playground. Fun view of the Elephant enclosure at the Copenhagen Zoo available from the park too
  • Nice place for a full day picnic, we enjoyed boat ride which is open whole summer only. Must visit place in autumn as well.
  • Always a great place to go. Very quaint and good place to get away from the city noises. See it as night as well, as the stars come out beautifully away from the lights of the hustle and bustle.
  • It's a beautiful park and right at the heart of the city. The park is so beautifully maintained and it's a joy walking around it. Kids will also enjoy in the park as it has a nice playing area for kids and has a view to Elephants enclosure which is part of the Zoo.
