  • We had chosen to visit the Folketing on a day of debate. We went in at rigsdagsgården, to the right of the large staircase and told that we would be up and hear the debate. No problem just through security checks and hand bags and outerwear. We could also have chosen tour, but today it was in the public gallery. There are a number of steps up from "the basement" To 3 floor and the elevator is out of service. At the entrance to the balcony is there as a guard and we must not use the Flash and the phone must be on silent. Inside sat there also saw a police officer. The Folketing Hall that houses the 179 members was opened and used the first time d. May 28, 1918. The seats are in a horseshoe shaped arrangement and President and lectern in the middle. The parties are sitting in blocks and those with the most seniority and rapporteurship closest to the lectern. Much of the furniture and decoration is in oak. Votes can now be seen on digital displays. There are lodges in several floors to the Royal family, Press and belongs to. We heard 2 Ministers respond to questions from members and President Pia Kjaersgaard regime transition. A very nicely formal language use. An exciting visit to our democracy Stronghold, as hot can be recommended to all. Compare the field when there are meetings. By the way are tour and belongs to visit free of charge.

  • The Folketing Chamber itself is quite impressive. There are moreover open fir visitors when there is activity in the Folketing. But best of all is to take a guided tour around the whole of Christiansborg Castle. There are lots of art, lots of history and a really nice building in General.

Great experience.

  • There is a free tour to visit Folketinget and it was very interesting. Just remember to register online 3-4 days before your visit.
  • Very cool, the guide was awesome. Apparently the waiting list to get in is quite long so be advised.
  • We had booked the tour. Pleasant, rather earnest, English speaking guide. You see lots of corridors, some committee rooms and the parliament chamber. All a bit po-faced and dull, presumably reflecting Danish politics.
  • I attended a conference and everything was Great, and beautifull.
  • Your all system is very good I am from india hope it all to in my india
