2 steps from the airport, arriving from France, a wonderful 1st contact with the country. This small village that resembles Piriac in Brittany or grass on the arcachon basin for those who know... but to the Danish. Small streets paved, narrow, fringed hollyhocks, very beautiful thatched houses, painted in yellow... Invitation to daydream. Calm and beauty. We regret not having found to sleep here. The little extra: ice on the port to Dragør IS... delicious!

Well worth a visit. This time has almost stood still. Most of it was the same. To get by bus from Copenhagen or Copenhagen/Copenhagen.

A town gives the impression of a somewhat exaggeratedly polished tourist attraction like the Moscow Street. However, he is really cute.

Went on a glorious, sunny, spring day and cycled from Copenhagen. There are cycle paths all the way, and you can enjoy the views of fields, horses, old churches and cottages. The Havn itself was very charming, as well as the Old Town. We bought lunch at the local Netto and picnicked outside. Lovely half day trip, would recommend.

Nice place to visit. What used to be a active ferry port is now just a cozy place that features small boats and cafes.

Where to stay in Copenhagen

Most of the hotels in Copenhagen are located in the central Vesterbro or hip Indre By areas, though there are many more adventurous (and somewhat more affordable) places to stay during your vacation. As in the rest of Denmark, accommodations in Copenhagen are quite expensive. If you're traveling on a tight budget, consider camping along the Mølleå River or staying in one of the city's many backpacker hostels. If you prefer an inexpensive hotel, explore options in the Helgolandsgade and Colbjørnsensgade neighborhoods. For a taste of Denmark's art scene, head to the up-and-coming Kongens Nytorv and Nyhavn areas. Travelers who like to stay outside of the main tourist areas should set their sights on one of the city's suburbs, like the northern section where you can stay at a beachfront hotel or on a houseboat.
